Exhibit Views of Paradise
By Balian Family
In 1992, the Smithsonian Museum of Washington D.C. hosted a special exhibition featuring the ceramic tile murals of Marie Balian and the Armenian Ceramics of Jerusalem. The exquisite tile murals from the Balian studio were showcased at the Dillon Ripley Center. Originally scheduled for a three-month run, the exhibition's immense popularity prompted a three-month extension. Below, you'll find images capturing the exterior of the museum and the captivating tile murals housed within the Dillon Ripley Center.
