Smithsonian Museum Exhibition of Armenian Ceramics

In 1992 a special exhibition of ceramic tile murals of Marie Balian and the Armenian Ceramics of Jerusalem was held at the Smithsonian Museum of  Washington Dc. The exclusive ceramic tile murals of the Balian studio were displayed at the Dillon Ripley Center. The exhibition was planned for 3 months but was extended for another 3 months due to the popularity of the spectacular ceramic tile murals of Marie Balian and the pottery of the Balian studio. Below are some of the images from the exterior of the Museum and the tile murals within the Dillon Ripley Center.
