The
tile murals and pottery of The Balian Armenian Ceramics have been exhibited all
over the world in various museums and institutions. The zenith being the
solo exhibition at the Smithsonian Museum of Washington D.C. in 1992. Our
pottery has also been the subject of numerous articles in magazines and
newspapers worldwide. These include The Washington Post , The LA Times ,The
Chicago Tribune & The New York Times

Tile murals by the Balian Ceramic Tile studio is sold only at our
factory and retail outlet on 14 Nablus Rd. East Jerusalem( and now on our
web site). The present location of our factory is where the true form
of art known as Armenian Pottery was born. We are the only ceramic
studio in Jerusalem producing our own ceramic ware and tile murals by methods
handed over to us by our grandparents and parents.
The Tile murals are painted on 15x15(6x6 inch)
ceramic tiles and then fired to a temperature of more than 1000 degrees
Centigrade. In addition to the standard sizes shown on the web site custom
sizes can be made according to the need of each client. We can also designs
custom designs which our clients want duplicated on ceramic tile. We can
also reproduce any digital image supplied to us on ceramic tiles. This is a
new technology recently developed in Europe which expands tremendously the
range of designs available for ceramic tile mural designs. These murals can
range in size from 12x12 inches to a limitless range of tens of feet in
